Overview.
Avok's 1.0 release turns it from a pantry tracker into a complete kitchen ecosystem. A Kitchen tab unifies Pantry, Grocery List, and Recipes with barcode and catalog search built in; Meal Plan lets you plan ahead, generate a day plan with Apple Intelligence, and log, edit, or delete meals in place. Grocery list, pantry, and meal plan stay fully linked - missing ingredients go to groceries, purchases go to pantry, and "Eat Me First" nudges surface what's expiring.
History is now its own tab with a full log, weekly Swift Charts, and an AI weekly insight. On the ecosystem side: Home Screen widgets for Today's rings, Hydration, Eat Me First, and Fasting; Lock Screen and Control Center controls for water logging and fasting; a Fasting Live Activity with Dynamic Island support; and Siri and Shortcuts for logging meals or water, managing groceries, and starting or ending a fast.
Apple Intelligence runs entirely on-device: multimodal nutrition label scanning with OCR fallback, pantry-aware meal suggestions, AI recipe ideas that prioritize expiring items, and a macro coach grounded in your HealthKit activity trends. Every AI feature has its own toggle, and the app works fully offline with AI turned off - no account, no server, no subscription, and no Private Cloud Compute.
